MYCOWINE featured on ‘Surcos’, the leading agricultural program in Castilla y León
The program Surcos, broadcast by RTVCyL, presented a special report on the MYCOWINE project, showcasing how the application of mycorrhizal fungi and soil biotechnology is transforming sustainable vineyard management.
The report includes testimonials from researchers and participating wineries, demonstrating that it is possible to enhance soil biodiversity, improve vineyard health, and produce high-quality wines — all while increasing resilience to climate change.
The project, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, is led by Vitartis, with the involvement of IDForest and six leading wineries from Castilla y León and La Rioja.
